The middle-class hustle
As soon as college ended, we realized that for young men from middle-class families, responsibilities arrive long before dreams do. We weren't starving, but supporting our families and securing our own futures was non-negotiable. I landed a hectic sales role, my friend took up grueling night shifts at a corporate firm — and every salary disappeared instantly into EMIs, household expenses, and meagre savings. On weekends we talked about giving our families a better life, knowing the 9-to-5 rat race was keeping us afloat, not changing anything.
Consecutive defeats
We saw the stock market as our only ticket out. Pooling our small savings, we stepped into trading — sure we'd found the shortcut to freedom. The market disagreed. For two years we faced back-to-back losses, an entire month's salary sometimes wiped out by a single poorly planned trade. My friend stared helplessly at a red screen from his office desk; I frantically checked my portfolio between sales calls. But neither of us was willing to go back to a life of compromise.

Instead of quitting, we learned from every mistake — discovering that trading wasn't about luck, but unwavering discipline. As the money started flowing in, we noticed thousands of ordinary people losing their salaries for lack of proper guidance — so we built free social communities, helping struggling small-scale traders without charging a single penny.

While guiding other traders, we spotted a recurring problem: small retail traders start with very little capital, and traditional, big-name brokers simply don't offer the flexibility they need to survive and grow. In 2024, we took the leap and launched our own brokerage — A1STOX — with a transparent 10x leverage feature.
